Vladimir Petrov (b. Moscow, 1997) is a Russian-Mexican pianist and one of the brightest talents of his generation. He trained with esteemed mentors such as Valery Piassetsky, Eliso Virsaladze, and Grigorii Gruzman .
He has won multiple international competitions: Lotar‑Shevchenko (Russia), Ciudad de Vigo (Spain), José Jacinto Cuevas – Yamaha (Mexico), NTD Piano Competition (New York), Neapolitan Masters (Italy), and earned the Audience Prize at the renowned Busoni Competition (Italy, 2021)
His performances span prestigious venues such as the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Bolshoi, the Mariinsky Theatre, Salle Cortot in Paris, and Mexico's Palace of Fine Arts—and he has toured extensively across Europe, North America, and Latin America
A graduate with honors from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, he is currently pursuing further studies at the Hochschule fĂĽr Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany
