As part of the renowned Organ Festival of the city, we are proud to participate with them in presenting Maestro Roland Dopfer, an internationally acclaimed virtuoso organist.

About Roland Dopfer: Roland Dopfer, originally from Bavaria, Germany, is an exceptional organist with an impressive career that spans the world's most prestigious stages. He studied Sacred Music at the renowned Robert Schumann Musikhochschule in Düsseldorf, graduating with honors. He continued his advanced studies in organ and harpsichord at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, perfecting his craft under the guidance of masters such as Nigel Allcoat, Martha Schuster, Margareta Hürholz, and Wolfgang Seifen.
With a doctorate from Bergische Universität Wuppertal and rich experience as Kirchenmusiker at the Basilica St. Laurentius in Wuppertal, Roland has left his mark at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen. Additionally, his work at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover solidified his reputation as a distinguished educator.
Currently, Roland combines his passion for music with his work in music therapy and music pedagogy in Switzerland, and serves as the organist at the ecumenical church of the Swiss Foundation for Epilepsy. His mastery of the organ and harpsichord has led him to perform concerts in Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Oman, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Mexico, and the United States.
In this special concert, Roland Dopfer will perform a carefully selected repertoire to highlight his virtuosity and the impressive sound of the organ. His deep connection to music and technical skill ensure an unforgettable auditory experience that you won't want to miss.
The event is free, but donations to continue hosting such events will be welcomed on the day of the concert.
