Fernando Saint Martin

A distinguished pianist and conductor, Fernando Saint Martin graduated with honors from the Escuela Superior de Música del INBA in Mexico. He earned a Master’s degree in performance from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, supported by prestigious scholarships such as the Zoya Solod Memorial Scholarship and the Schulich Scholarship for the best admission audition.

He has performed as a soloist and guest conductor with renowned orchestras, including the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, the Orquesta de Cámara de Bellas Artes, the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, and the Querétaro Philharmonic, among others. His career has taken him to stages across Mexico, the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America, with appearances at festivals such as the Festival Internacional Cervantino and the Northern Lights Festival.

Saint Martin has released three albums under labels such as NAXOS and Quindecim. He served as Director General of Music at UNAM (2015–2020) and is currently a professor at the Faculty of Music at UNAM. He is also a recipient of the 2022-2024 Scenic Creators with Trajectory Grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts.
