Alberto Lenz stands out in Mexican geometric art, influenced by figures like Mathias Goeritz, Gunther Gerzso, Manuel Felguérez, and Vicente Rojo. His work, conceptually and formally rooted in these masters, evolves towards a post-modern "neo-geometric" proposal. Using metal, wood, and cardboard, Lenz creates vibrant compositions challenging the coldness of conventional geometry. He merges sculpture and painting, breaking barriers between disciplines. Although geometric, his work evokes sensuality and mystery, connecting with the baroque spirit of Mexican culture. Opening Reception on February 1, 5 pm to 7 pm, free admission.
