Cinema Piano: Fernando Saint Martin in Concert
Casa Europa México presents “Cinema Piano,” a solo piano recital performed by Fernando Saint Martin. This program offers a musical journey through the great film scores that have shaped cinema history, creating a direct bridge between the screen and the concert hall.
The repertoire combines the classical genius of Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin with the contemporary atmospheres of iconic film composers such as Ennio Morricone (Cinema Paradiso), Yann Tiersen (Amélie), Ludovico Einaudi (Intouchables), and Hans Zimmer (Interstellar).
Fernando Saint Martin, graduate of McGill University in Canada and former Director of Music at UNAM, will guide audiences through an experience that explores memory, nostalgia, and the richness of Mexican salon music with works by Ricardo Castro.
