Four San Miguel Painters invites visitors to contemplate the intimate worlds that each artist has captured in response to their enduring relationship with Mexico. Finding the extraordinary in the scenes they each paint, the art presented here is a masterful balance of realism and abstraction. Landscapes, architecture, light, street scenes, lush flowers, and references to Mexico’s brimming and vibrant culture are collectively what inform each of these painters whose lives, together, span over six decades in their adopted country.
