Playing music for peace will not bring an end to a war, but it can help to make the lives of those who are suffering a little less difficult.

A year ago, Casa Europa Mexico presented the first concert benefiting the people of Ukraine. Many of our national and international residents showed solidarity and the giving spirit that characterizes our San Miguel de Allende. Everyone’s hope was that this conflict would not be long lasting. A war in our globalized world affects us all. Thirteen months have since passed, and the situation continues to affect everyone in the world, most of all the families in Ukraine.

The war brings inconceivable suffering and the need for humanitarian is great.

Casa Europa Mexico has continued to be in touch with the Embassy of Ukraine who asked for our support for the children impacted by the war. Therefore, we will be presenting a second fundraising concert benefiting the children of Ukraine.

We hope many of you will help support this effort and join us for this wonderful evening of “Voices for Ukraine” on April 13^th, at 5:00 pm at Casa Europa Mexico.

The national and international repertoire will be presented by: Lady Zen, Maestro Rogelio and his studio Operisima México, Beautiful Voices of Mexico City, the children’s, and youth choir of the public library of SMA, Yoremem, Mariachi Los Camperos and the talented Kristell San German.

All proceeds will be presented to the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Ukraine, Vlad Branashko, at the conclusion of the concert.

Please join us at Casa Europa Mexico for this extraordinary event of giving to the children of a nation in need.

Tickets, $ 600 pesos are sold Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at San Francisco # 23, Centro, and San Miguel de Allende. If, for any reason, you should not be able to attend the concert, please feel free to leave whatever donation you feel able to make, in the piggy bank which will be in the same building.

Tocar por la paz no pondrá fin a la guerra, pero acudir a un concierto en las próximas semanas sí podrá contribuir a que la vida de quienes han tenido que huir de ella sea un poco menos difícil.

Hace un año Casa Europa México y cientos de residentes nacionales y extranjeros de nuestra ciudad  demostraron la solidaridad y espíritu altruista que caracteriza a San Miguel de Allende, hace un año en el pensamiento de los asistentes se tenía la esperanza de que el conflicto no se prolongará, porque al final  una guerra afecta de manera significativa a nuestro mundo tan globalizado, sin embargo han pasado ya más de 13 meses y la situación continua afectando a todos, pero principalmente a las familias ucranianas.

Recordemos que es bien sabido que cuando una guerra se desata, el sufrimiento humano puede llegar a ser inconcebible y la ayuda humanitaria se requiere en todo momento.

Por lo anterior, Casa Europa México ha continuado en comunicación con la Embajada de Ucrania desde el 2022 y hoy se ha propuesto realizar un segundo concierto de recaudación de fondos con el fin específico de apoyar a las necesidades de los niños ucranianos, pero para lograr este objetivo se requiere de  la ayuda de todos ustedes; varios artistas de gran calidad humana han aceptado participar en este noble evento titulado “Voces por Ucrania” que se llevará a cabo en Casa Europa México el próximo 13 de abril a las 5:00 pm,  el repertorio musical nacional e internacional será interpretado por: Lady Zen, El Mtro. Rogelio y su estudio Operisima México, Beautiful Voices de CDMX, el Coro Infantil y Juvenil de la Biblioteca Pública de SMA, Yoremem, Mariachi Los Camperos y la talentosa Kristell San German.

Todo el dinero recaudado será entregado ese mismo día al Agregado Cultural de Ucrania en México, Vlad Branashko.

Invitamos a todos a participar en este noble evento. Los boletos estarán a la venta por $600 pesos en Casa Europa México, de lunes a viernes de 10 am a 5 pm en San Francisco #23, Zona centro de San Miguel de Allende.
